In collaboration with Wayuu weavers from the Guajira region of Colombia, we have designed placemats using traditional Wayuu weaving techniques but redesigned for the modern table.  Wayuu women are known for weaving intricate and colorful handbags, and we worked with master weavers to create a design, color, and pattern that is totally unique.  Using long strands of thread, each placemat is handwoven and hand-finished. 

Placemats come in a set of two.  Each placemat is made by hand and therefore is unique.  Measures about 19.5 inches wide by 14.5 inches tall.
